MJ Maponya makes it official by putting a ring on his girlfriend Ipeleng Segolodi’s finger.

Proposing on Ipeleng’s birthday, the Temptation Island reality star didn’t wait long to take their long distance relationship to the next level.

According to TshisaLive, the pair have only been dating for 6-months but MJ says he knew 2-months in that she was the one.

 

Ipeleng, from Botswana caught MJ’s attention on social media and he threw caution to the wind and slid right into those DMs.

MJ proposed at Four Seasons Hotel The Westcliff, Johannesburg on 05 July but only announced the engagement on Tuesday, 16 July.

Taking to Instagram to share a picture from their engagement photoshoot, MJ thanked his soon-to-be wife for choosing him.

“Growth must be chosen again and again; fear must be overcome again and again, and with this ring I choose to grow and overcome obstacles and difficulties with you for the rest of our lives, thank you for choosing us (me & Moshibudi) we love you mommy.”

The couple plan to get married next year, and still have a lot of decisions to make regarding their future life together, such as whether MJ moves to Botswana or have his wife settle down in South Africa

Former group member of 2Faced, Slenda Da Dancing DJ is moving on solo. This comes after the publication reported she has split from the group she was in with Thuli Phongolo.

Slenda Da Dancing DJ is a headliner for “Lit Friday” at Cosmopolitan in Maboneng, Johannesburg.

 

 

 

 

Speaking to the publication, the DJ, real name Sithabile Lucia Zungu, said her fans must get ready for her fire set.“I hardly plan because I play music from my heart, but I definitely will make them feel like they are in Durban. I am a dynamic and captivating performer. I’ve become a powerhouse entertainer, seamlessly blending my exceptional dancing skills with my talent for DJing,” she said.

Her unique dance style, an embodiment of Gqom culture, quickly set her apart. It was natural she would extend her talent to selecting music that gets crowds moving.

“As a DJ, my performances are an electrifying fusion of dance and music, creating an immersive experience that keeps audiences entertained,” she said.

South African actor Thembinkosi Mthembu recently celebrated his 30th birthday and shared his gratitude on social media for reaching this milestone.

During the interview, Mthembu briefly opened up about his sister’s tragic passing, admitting that he is still struggling to come to terms with the loss. “To be honest, I haven’t healed from my sister’s passing. I tried, but I haven’t forgiven the perpetrator. It is something that I am constantly evading,” shared the actor.

The actor shared that his sister, who worked in the police force, was shot by an ex-boyfriend at her office. “Her co-workers allowed him in because they were dating from college. He shot my sister and then killed himself,” he said.
