TV reality star Khanyi Mbau set social media abuzz after she shared a clip of her road to recovery after going under the knife for a picture-perfect look.

In the now-viral video, she revealed that she had an Eyelid Surgery called Blepharoplasty.

According to Cleveland Clinic, the cosmetic procedure reduces bagginess from the lower eyelids and removes excess skin from the upper eyelids.

Confirmed reports also have it that Khanyi Mbau also had a subnasal lip lift, a cosmetic procedure that tightens the skin around the mouth and nose.

The two surgeries have become common among celebrities and influencers in recent years.

Rumour mill has it that Katie Price is one of the influencers who has had one of the most preferred lip lift surgery the subnasal lip lift.

However, many celebrities, including reality TV star Jojo Robinson, have been vocal about surgeries and their picture-perfect looks back home.

She once hogged headlines when she revealed on air that she has splurged over R800 000 on surgeries. Jojo Robinson has had over 20 surgeries.

No doubt Khanyi Mbau’s now-viral video has since thrust her into top trends, with many poking fun at her once famous husband Mandla Mthembu, who went awol.Some were poking fun at her new complexion that has often thrust her into top trends over the years.

An X user made it known that Mandla Mthembu would not recognise Khanyi Mbau after her recent facelift.

The once-celebrated businessman was married to the reality star between 2006 to 2009. Mandla Mthembu reportedly introduced Khanyi Mbau to the soft life.

Since their fallout, little has been heard about the once-celebrated multi-millionaire who shares a daughter with Mbau.

However, Khanyi Mbau has been a vocal supporter of skin-lightening products and has had them over the years. She once revealed that being light made her stand above the rest.

Asked about his relationship with Mbau, Lasiswe Dambuza revealed that the two share the same father. However, Mpho Popps jokingly said Khanyi Mbau was white, and the two laughed it off.

Popular South African musical artist Dladla Mshunqisi is gearing to expand his brand.

On Wednesday, the Durban-based Gqom singer announced the return of his Usuku Lomshunqo Music Festival. This ahead of his upcoming the song Yini Lengaka, which features Goldmax, DJ Tira, and Siboniso Shozi and is expected to be a party starter as the country ushers in warmer weather.

“The 5th annual Usuku Lomshunqo Music Festival returns after a two-year hiatus with exciting new changes including moving to a new venue. The Omunye hitmaker said he was also venturing into the food business with a mobile kitchen he called ‘Mshunqo Bites’, saying it’s vital to feed the nation and crucial for artists to have a secondary source of income. His business will now be based in Greyville, Durban.

“As creatives we do not always get bookings, hence it is important to have other income streams, we sell traditional food, fries, hamburgers etc. The first Mshunqo Bites was at Game City in Morningside, now I’m happy that we’ve moved to a permanent spot in Greyville,” he said.

Solly Moholo fig ting for his life in ICU, asks for donations

Popular Mzansi gospel singer Solly Moholo’s management team is pleading to his fans and Mzansi for medical fund intervention.

 

The singer, Solly Moholo, real name Solomon Molokoane who was hospitalised in Botswana after falling ill was transferred to a South African hospital on Wednesday, 28 August.

“Solly Moholo is in the intensive care unit (ICU) right now, and doctors have determined that he requires a brain operation,” said the management in a statement.

“In this difficult time, his family, team, and friends need your assistance in keeping the Legend alive. Any amount of money would be highly appreciated,” they said.

Moholo fell ill in Botswana this week while launching his upcoming album Wubani O zo Pepeza.

The Soshanguve-born singer’s crew reported that Botswana’s citizens liked him, but his health deteriorated on the way to the hotel where he stayed after his performances.

His management team also told TshisaLIVE that the family is asking his fans to put him in their prayers.

Shoki Mmola opens up about her abusive marriage to actor Sello Sebotsana

Former Skeem Saam actress Shoki Mmola recently shared details of her abusive marriage to Sello Sebotsana on King David Studio Podcast.

The legendary actress Shoki Mmola, who currently stars in Scandal! says red flags in her marriage existed before the abuse began.


 

 

 

 

 

Mmola also reveals that she knew that she didn’t want kids out of wedlock, and whoever she would be involved with, she would love them wholeheartedly.

“The lack of a biological family was one of the things that compromised me in that situation,” she said.“I cannot say I was there for love; I was there for structure. I never had a proper family structure. So, I wanted that for my kids and future.”

Mmola adds that she had to go to therapy with her nanny and her children and that she allows her children to bring up old wounds.She also admits that her children saw everything and did not need any explanations from her.

“I stayed long for me but not for the bigger picture. There is nothing that you can explain to the girls that they do not know; they remember stuff I do not even recall.

“It breaks my heart, but at least they have an understanding.”
The SABC reported in 2018 that the actress Shoki Mmola opened a domestic violence case against Sello Sebotsana.

The channel adds that the pair’s 10-year-old daughter also testified in a special court with a facilitator and video live-streaming.

It is believed their child was deemed to be too scared of her father to testify live.
She claims that her nanny, who saw a lot, was the one who saved her life the night she escaped.
